Stayed here recently and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The location is honestly hard to beat. You’re right on Grand Lake with incredible views, and it’s just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants downtown, so once you park your car you really don’t need it again. Being only a few minutes from the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park makes it the perfect home base too. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed after long days of hiking and exploring. Sitting outside in the morning with a coffee looking over the lake was probably my favorite part of the trip. The owners clearly care about the place and were friendly and easy to deal with from start to finish. If you’re looking for a fancy resort, this isn’t trying to be that. It’s a classic lakeside mountain lodge in an unbeatable location, and that’s exactly what makes it so great. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Grand Lake.

The views are the best I think for any hotel, the room was recently renovated and I thought very cute. Comfortable beds. Staff was friendly. On the minus there is a coffee pot but no coffee cups. There were two glasses so I did have a glass of coffee which I had to hold with my towel. no packets with sugar and cream. No hairdryer which I thought was an oversight and I went to the reception desk and nobody was there, but it was six in the morning. I saw another woman with long wet hair outside and realized there’s just no hairdryers in the rooms. I Stopped carrying hairdryers cause all hotels have it these days. Loved the outside tables that you could eat your breakfast , again best views in the world.

My wife and I were so lucky to stay here. The king room was extremely comfortable, modern, and the views were stunning. We love adventures and being active outdoors and loved everything the lodge had to offer before and after each of our daily adventures. We will be back

Made a reservation for a night here >30 days in advance. They canceled it two days before my stay, and left me to make alternate plans while on vacation. Absolutely would not recommend. If you value reliability don't book here.

Great stay for great value. Definitely put some recent work into this hotel and it shows! Will be our go to stay whenever we are in the area. The updates on the bathroom and increased effort in comfort and attention were noticed all around.
