I felt like I was transferred to a MAGICAL PLACE! Absolutely unique! Are you looking for all the kindness and gentleness from Colorado, this is the place! I can't find the words to describe all the amazingness of the landscape! The Cabin was adorable, cozy and super clean! Close to a lot of great places around Estes but make sure to spare time to enjoy this place. You can sit by the river and just relax. Can't wait to come back!

My family and I stayed at the Lodge cabin a few years back when my dad had been diagnosed with cancer. Luckily then it was an amazing stay. Super quiet, great cabin with lots of space, no issues. We decided to go up again after he passed to reminisce on that great trip and were severely disappointed. There is construction happening within the resort that ruined both our Friday and Monday. Had we known it was going to be loud and anything but peaceful, we would not have booked here. I would recommend checking the status of this construction prior to booking at this resort because it really ruins the whole point. Also, it is absolutely necessary that they fix the stove. The kitchen is such a small space and we probably bumped the broken knob 30 times over the weekend and it would be very easy for someone to turn the gas on and not notice it. This is a very dangerous situation waiting to happen.

Had an absolute lovely time with my best friend and my two kiddos. We enjoyed our cabin and the overall quaint comfortability of the place. Everything was absolutely perfect. Exactly what you would expect in a lovely small family owned place! above expectations.

What a Cozy Quiet spot myself and hubby had for our 5 day 6 night stay. We had the Birdhouse cabin and it was absolutely amazing! This cabin was so spotless and was just perfect. The owner’s, their daughter and employees in the office are wonderful and willing to answer questions and help you decide what cabin you will need when you come to stay. They also provide the best information for you when you go to visit in town for sightseeing and then the best time to visit the Park to see all the amazing beautiful animals and of course places to enjoy eating…

Service was friendly and the cabin was clean, but it felt cramped both inside the cabin and on the grounds. Lots of stuff everywhere and certain things didn’t even look functional. Stacks of chairs and lawn decorations etc. A few cohesive seating areas and natural grounds to walk around would be more pleasant in my opinion. Additionally there is construction in the lot next door so our view was of a construction site. Nothing they can do about that though.
