This was our second time staying here. We booked a King 2nd floor condo room. It was SO spacious!! Bed was super comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Housekeeping only provided every other day. Of course the views were wonderful. We spent a lot of time in the porch enjoying the river. They also have so many gas grills around the property for you to use. They also provide grilling utensils, just ask! The front desk workers are so helpful and accommodating! We left the property each day before sunrise, to start our hikes at RMNP. They graciously let us into the. Breakfast area each afternoon to get what we would like for our “breakfast to go” while hiking! I will say the room we stayed in (205) might need some TLC. The carpet had several stains in it and the screen door off the porch was broken/off track. We reported both of these items while there. Won’t stop me from returning ! A gem of a place in Estes park! We will always stay here when visiting Estes Park!!

I rated the room 3.0 because it is a little outdated but very clean and comfortable. (Bed and pillows). We had a room with a view of the river from the deck. And although the property is older the views are outstanding and it was quiet and so peaceful. The pool and jaccuzi are not fancy but clean. The Continental breakfast was not fancy either but it's is clean and something for everyone, and the coffee was very good - so for me that was a big plus! I would stay here again. Make sure you ask for a room with the river view, it's worth the extra money. It's also just a short walk to the shops and there is also a shuttle that is very close to the property.

When I began planning our vacation to Estes Park, I asked friends and family for recommendations on places to stay. Murphy's came highly recommended by several and I can see why. The rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable. We stayed in a lower river condo and had a full kitchen and a wonderful view of the river that was literally 3 steps from our deck. One morning we even woke up to elk right outside our room! The indoor pool is something that very few properties in the area have. We used it everyday and pretty much had it to ourselves! We also enjoyed playing the outdoor games they have set up, like Jenga and cornhole. We took advantage of the DVDs they have available to borrow and watched The Shining while there! All the staff were very friendly and very accommodating to any request. The housekeeping staff were thorough and our room was really clean. They even made shells and swans with the towels for us! It's also very close to downtown Estes Park, which is convenient. You can actually just walk there.

We had a wonderful 3-day stay experience here at Murphy's River Lodge together with our dogs! Views from the balcony is breathtaking. Room is very spacious and clean. Location is perfect, close to the national park and downtown. We traveled via long drive from Texas and it was worth it. Staff were friendly, even let us check-in early to get extra rest. Will definitely come back in the future!

Absolutely loved our stay here. We booked an upper and lower condo which are connected by a staircase for our large family of 7. Both rooms had a king bed with a pull out couch. All the mattresses, including the pull out were comfort. We had plenty of space in the rooms. The lower room had a small "kitchen" and table which worked well for playing cards. The upper room was a little smaller but still had plenty of space. The pool was a big hit with the kids! Great quality, location, service for the price!
