We had a nice stay here at the Hotel Estes, the rooms are clean but a bit dated. The view is very pretty since we could see the mountains out of our windows in the AM. They offer continental breakfast but its really Oatmeal, bagels and hard-boiled eggs. There are other pre packaged items like granola bars and the like. There is a juice machine with several options and a bottle filling station which is great. The staff are friendly and helpful. Where my grips comes in is the wiring in the room. Our light switch for the bathroom was on the outside of the bathroom. Also if you turned the bathroom lights on it turns on the sink lights as well but that is in the main room so it lights up the whole room. Spent nice money to have to take a flashlight to the bathroom at night. The location is really nice as you are a few minutes from downtown and maybe 15 from RMNP. The fridge in the room was a very nice size, larger then dormroom but smaller then full size home fridge. I will say the beds were firm, but for me that was a positive.

Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The view was pretty cool. We planned to do stuff around Rocky Mountain National park, and eat and shop in Estes Park. So what we needed was a good place to sleep and get recharged for the Next day. Hotel Estes filled the bill nicely. We have stayed there before, and will book again the next time I am up that Way.

Hotel Estes is nice for the money. We will probably try a different hotel next time we in town, but the kids liked the pool and it was a comfortable place to rest. Pros: Beautiful surroundings with a great view of the high peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park. The room was clean, and the small outdoor pool and hot tub are well kept. A few suites are available with a separate living room and kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Mehs: Staff consists of one person working a small front desk. Both employees we encountered there seemed like they'd rather have been someplace else. The bathroom in our room is tiny and old fashioned. Climate control consists of a noisy window unit air conditioner. Rooms aren't as updated as they appear on the website. The free breakfast is worth every penny. Cereal, toast, coffee, juice. Con: You will absolutely wreck your shins on the corners of the bedframes. Several times, day and night. They stick out 3" past the mattresses and are low enough you won't see them. They will make your children cry.

We just spent 2 nights at Hotel Estes. Our room was decent. A little outdated but very clean and comfortable. The pool is cool and refreshing. The hot tub is great. The pool area was getting resurfaced when we were there so it will look great after this week. But the best part was the location, stunning views and really wonderful staff. Amber at the front desk was incredibly helpful, professional and provided impeccable customer service. We come back to Estes in 3 1/2 weeks with dear family friends to pick our daughters up from camp and loved Hotel Estes so much that we are canceling our booked airbnb and staying at Estes again.

One of the cleanest and comfortable hotels we've stayed at while traveling from Alabama to Yellowstone National Park. Beds and pillows were almost like being in your home beds. Plenty of towels for 5 people and the 3 queen bed room was more than accommodating. Friendly front desk attendants that welcomed us as we arrived.
