Beautiful hike. First 2 miles are easy. The last mile has more difficulty to it but so worth it.

Such a beautiful and accessible hike for anyone visiting RMNP. The hike starts with a gentle, uphill grade along the creek. The trailer started with several campsites. You can also take some of the side trails. The trail up to Bridal Veil Falls is especially nice. I’ve been here different times of year and it’s always nice. Here are some photos from today’s snowshoeing trip on this trail. The shade on the trail is sporadic, so be sure to wear sunscreen and bring a hat, even year-round. The bathroom here is reliably clean, too. Parking is limited so be sure to arrive early, especially in the summer.

So this is a very beautiful and relatively easy hike/walk. The trail leads off to quite a few rock climbing options. I walked to an area dubbed McGregor falls. It's not much of a waterfall but still very pleasant and enjoyable.

Really enjoyed this trail to Bridal Veil Falls! The wildflowers are abundant! Didn’t see much wildlife other than some chipmunks and a small snake. The waterfall is beautiful! Pretty easy trail until last 1/2 mile where the rocky scramble starts but is very doable!

If you want to go for a hike in Rocky Mountain National Park without the crowds, this is your trail. It is true there is very limited parking; however, when we hiked it on a weekday in December we had no problem getting a parking spot. The first couple of miles follow a gentle incline on a well-maintained trail up the valley, with beautiful views all around. After you take the right-hand trail at the junction toward Bridal Veil Falls, the conditions of the trail deteriorate. Be prepared for some rough spots. Trekking poles would be useful in this last 1.2 mile section, but are really not needed for the rest of the trail. Also, The last 1/4 mile or so of the route to the base of the falls is very poorly marked, so take your time to choose the best path for you and be careful on the exposed rock faces.
