We absolutely loved this park! We actually checked into a different park our first night in town and did not care for how packed in they were so I called over here in the morning and they were SO accommodating and helpful. Kristin is absolutely wonderful. Our site had plenty of room for our kids to play and room for chairs, grills and toys and plenty of room for our pickup as well. The playground is very nice and my boys loved it! I will say we I looked at other reviews and some RV people are so picky and needy. Our site actually was a bit sloped but we enjoyed the site with nice shade and lots of room. Sometimes when you’re camping you need to make the best of things and focus on the memory and adventures, I’ve worked at an RV park myself and try not to dwell on minor inconveniences. Laundry room was nice as well and it was an easy drive to RMNP. Seriously all of the staff here was absolutely wonderful, I cannot thank them all enough for making our stay great!

We are so happy we chose Elk Meadow Lodge & Resort! The views from our Motorhome were amazing. While we ere visiting Estes Park we checked out other nearby Campgrounds and realized Elk Meadows has the best views of the Rocky Mountains by far. Not only were the views amazing, but Elk Meadows is located just 5 minutes to Rocky Mountains National Park. I highly recommend Elk Meadows for your Estes Park vacation.

While the scenery is beautiful the park needs a lot of work. Sites are not level and they pack you back to back with RVs. No WiFi, said the pool was heated but it was too cold to swim in. Low water pressure. Only one set of restrooms open. Constantly out of toilet paper. Picnic tables are useless as the sites are tiered so the tables are leaning. Also the ground squirrels are horrible. Holes everywhere in the ground. Careful walking! Prices do not reflect the quality of the park.

The location is the only thing going for this place. It has so much potential, but is in a terrible state of disrepair. It appears that little to no maintenance is done here anymore. The increased rates are ridiculous. - The pool isn’t heated nor clean - Wi-Fi is no longer provided - RV sites are terribly uneven - Tent camp sites are riddled with holes/burrows from ground squirrels (I’m guessing RV sites are too) and not had any of the huge weeds pulled that are growing - 2 of the 3 shower houses work - ‘The Lodge’ is where a band plays, no food or drinks are served - The golf course just plain needs help. Some holes are unplayable due to neglect and most of the holes are full of rodent excrement. - There are huge weeds all over the campground. Nothing is mowed or weedeated and there aren’t even any flowers - all the flower pots are full of weeds and dried out. We’ve stayed here twice. This will be the last time. Next year we’ll find somewhere else.

The grounds are not kept up. I guess they feel there is no reason to mow the grassy areas. The rest of the camp is nothing but dust. No amenities other than the pool. No wi-fi. It is very close to the Beaver entrance of the national park. That entrance is usually very crowded. Try to stay near Falls River.
