Absolutely wonderful experience! The Backbone Adventures team was kind, accommodating, and made everything easy from the start. They walked us through the information, showed us how to use the side-by-sides, and then sent us off on an incredible adventure. The views were outstanding, and it was the perfect amount of excitement for our family of four. It made us feel like we were living on the wild side, while still feeling safe and comfortable. Two adults, our 9-year-old daughter, and our 5-year-old son all had a blast. It was absolutely worth the cost for a fun and adventurous day in Estes Park. My only advice is to plan your timing accordingly. Arrive early so you have time to get helmets, fill out waivers, and get checked in. Also, keep in mind that it’s about a 20–30 minute drive from the check-in location to the equipment. We weren’t sure whether the 3-hour rental would feel too long, but once we got comfortable, the time went by quickly. The route is about 45 minutes each way, and you’ll easily fill the time exploring the paths and enjoying the views. The machines felt very safe and easy to use. As long as you drive responsibly and don’t take unnecessary risks, it’s a breeze. Highly recommend for families looking for a memorable adventure in Estes Park!

We rented two ATVs Wednesday and enjoyed a full day adventure! We headed out to Rollins Pass. The drive out to the location was beautiful and the ride itself was tons of fun! The staff at Backbone was on point with everything! This was our second time renting with them out of Estes Park. We will definitely be a return customer again! Thanks Backbone for an awesome day outside!!

This was one of the best experiences Ive ever had. My fiancé and me rented the Polaris Rzr 1000 for 3 hours starting at noon. It was such a smooth setup and orientation. Recommend filling out the waivers online first to save some time. I am not oppose to a guided tour, but being able to go bee bop around by yourself for 3 hours was awesome. We did the Johnny Park Experience and the views were amazing! We had so much fun and I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for 4-wheel adventures while in the Denver area!

Family had a great time on Johnny Park Trails. We had 2, 2 seater side x sides. Bous 17 and 14 wife and myself. ( each woth a boy). Great for beginners like us, there were mud pits my son and i drove through multiple times. May need to rain for those. Hills, straights, Views and the Staff were amazing. A company i would use again.

Rented a CanAm2 seat side by side for a 1/2 day. They included a 4Runner, trailer and the car. We ended up doing Pole Hill because it was close.Was really capable and fun. Wish the trails at this spot were a bit longer. We ended up doing multiple loops on each trail for each driver which was nice. Would love to come back and rent one for the whole day so we could have gone to some of the trails that were further out and longer. Staff were friendly. I would highly recommend renting from here to anyone that is coming to Estes and looking to rent some outdoor equipment.
