We’ve been to the Silver Moon Inn twice now because we loved it so much the first time. The second time we had a minor bug scare relating to literally just one bug on the wall lol but the front desk was very understanding and still sent room service to asses the room and ensure there was no bigger issue. Our coffee machine also wasn’t working, but we enjoyed the coffee at the front desk (as a coffee enthusiast, it’s actually really good), and we casually mentioned our coffee machine wasn’t working. We went about our day and when we came by to our room that day there was a note from the front desk that stated that they replaced the coffee machine in our room and even gave us extra coffee pods 🥹🫶🏼 The location is also amazing, everything is within walking distance, grocery store and Estes Park Marina are within a 5-minute drive. The scenery at the hotel is absolutely beautiful. We saw elk, humming birds, and the most beautiful butterflies. Guests are overall kind as well. The free s’mores each night at the fire pit is our daughter’s favorite activity. The hot tub is also very nice, families use it staggeringly which made it easy for each family to use it on their own time. There is a park next to the hotel which we enjoyed picnics at. If you book a room with a cooking stove, you will NOT regret it! They provide pots, pans, plates, cups, and cooking utensils. It’s amazing when you stay long and don’t want to eat out each day. Only negative to note is that the floors are thin, so if you’re in the bottom floor expect minor noises and shuffling sounds from people above. We didn’t mind it, but our first time at the Inn some guest complained about us walking too loudly after 10 pm 🙄 So keep that in mind when booking room preference.
