Great hike to not one but two rocky peaks that allow for panoramic views of the surrounding areas. There are some steep sections that may leave you gasping for air but overall with its good use of switchbacks the elevation gain I felt was rather easily manageable. I'm only a novice hiker and still was able to complete this out and back hike in 3 and a half hours. And that included spending a fair amount of time taking in the views atop both peaks. Would highly recommend this hike the views are wonderful a very rewarding hike without over exerting yourself

Great hike. Took my wife and I 4 hours and 45 minutes from the parking area across from Lilly Lake with time on both summits. It’s a perfect hike to get on some high peaks and out of tree line. You can park a little farther up from the Lilly lake TH at the actual peak TH.

Finished the hike in just over 5 hours! Amazing views and the technical terrain makes it a challenging hike but so rewarding with the 360 views at the summit. In mid-may still quite a lot of snow on the top 1/3rd of the trail and traction devices highly necessary. The views of longs peak are unparalleled!

This hike was hard!!! Elevation doesn’t play. At the top I got to sit with a marmot so all was good. The views are amazing and I would recommend this hike but make sure youre capable of it.

My wife and I saved this hike for our last day in Estes making sure we were more acclimated to the elevation as we're from Illinois. This was our most difficult hike yet. Having said that, I consider it to be a moderate level of difficulty just longer than most that we had done with the end scramble being a little on the difficult side. But once you're past the scramble and up at the pass between the two peaks, the views and the feeling I hope you get are more than worth it. I climbed both peaks. The second one that has the actual marker ( photo included) was difficult but well worth it, Just check the pictures. My wife and I are in relatively good shape. We're active but again from Illinois so elevation was a challenge. It took us about 4 and 1/2 hours total up and back. We stopped at the top and ate a snack and rested for about 15 minutes and took several pictures..
