We did this hike mid-morning in mid-March. We also did the ridge trail. The trail was mostly packed snow, and traction devices recommended. In the snow the ridge trail was just a little hard to follow in places, but overall well marked, and the lake loop was easy to follow. The parking lot was medium sized, but probably fills fast during busy times. Views on the ridge were beautiful. Views from the lake also very pretty. It was a not too long loop, but the ridge trail really had some amazing views.

This is a gorgeous short walking loop with plenty of trails leading off if you want to be adventurous. It attracts a wide range of visitors due to its inclusive accessibility. It’s a super pleasant experience. The flowers are pretty and there are benches and flat rocks to sit and enjoy the view!

Lily Lake is a beautiful and peaceful stop, especially if you’re coming from the Peak to Peak Highway. Easy walk around the lake with gorgeous mountain views, a perfect spot to stretch your legs and enjoy the scenery. Great for a quick break or a relaxing picnic!

I loved the snow here and it's very peaceful! Great time to get out and relax outside of the city 🫶🏼

This is one of the most beautiful and easy hikes near Estes Park, CO. The hike around the lake is very flat and scenic. And if tou like to challenge your self a little more, there are many other hikes you can add going away from this "round the lake" hike.
