We stayed 3 nights at moraine campground. Most of he campsites are exposed with very little tree coverage. We enjoyed waking up to grazing elk. Bathrooms were clean. We didn't use the shower stalls but saw that plenty were available. Our site was flat and had a large pad for our tent. Parking was easy and spacious. Be aware of the sneaky little chipmunks. They will go through your items and even crawl through your open car doors. Catching the shuttle was easy but times are difficult to figureout. I had pretty good phone service throughout this campsite with AT&T.

I had an absolutely fantastic time here with my two boys camping for two nights in early June. The weather was perfect: high 60s during the day and mid 40s at night. Right away I noticed how clean the campground was. Being a very large campground, around 250 campsites, you would think it feels impacted, but it doesn’t. The views are incredible, and the staff was very helpful. Right within our campsite, we saw deer, elk, turkey, and lots of beautiful birds, including a blue jay. On a day trip to Sprague Lake, we saw two moose. Rocky Mountain national Park is a spectacle. Quintessential Colorado. Highly recommend staying at marine Park campground.

Wonderful ranger programs to attend! Beautiful campsites that are close, but with great views and don't feel close due to trees and rocks. Bathrooms were clean (no showers, but they have shower stalls-need to bring your own solar shower bag). Can't beat being right in the park and Moraine gives you access to Bear lake area which is a huge plus!

This campground has the most amenities out of all the campgrounds in Rocky Mountain National Park. Eventually this information will be outdated but, there is no fresh water fill for RVs here. The fresh water fill next to the dump station is out of service. There are drinking water spigots throughout the campground (except B-loop for now) but those are for filling drinking water containers only. This is the ONLY campground with 30 amp and 50 amp hookups for RVs. The views and location are great but if you are willing and able to boondock, go to Glacier Basin Campground. In my opinion the views there are better and it seems to be a little quieter. I also suspect star-gazing from there is better too. In all it's a great campground that is well maintained and the staff are very helpful. The attached photos were taken from site B179.

It’s a wonderful campground with beautiful nature and plenty of wildlife. It's the perfect spot whether you want to just relax or use it as a base for nearby outdoor activities. The restroom near my campsite was flushed and kept very clean.
