Friendly staff, very spacious rooms, a good breakfast selection, and a convenient location with plenty of food options nearby. There is nothing negative to say about Discovery Lodge. Our entire family felt it was an excellent choice. The stay exceeded our expectations, and we were very satisfied with the overall experience. We would definitely consider staying here again.

As mentioned in pior postings the updated rooms have nice towels and sheets. There were some small ants in the room. I would have rated this a 3 star except for our room under the lobby. DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 101 or 102! These rooms are noisy especially during the breakfast time

An excellent value hotel. Spacious rooms with incredibly comfortable beds and four sumptuous pillows. The deer and geese on site are fun to watch and there's also a hot tub. Cons: the coffee is horrible, but hey it's a free breakfast. Also we had trouble locking the slider on our room. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. An easy fix would be a dowel you could insert from inside for maximum security. Otherwise, great stay!

Front desk was very nice. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Each room has a little patio with a couple chairs to sit outside and enjoy the Mountain View. The complimentary breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay here again .

We stayed for 3 nights with 2 young children. Kids loved the playground and made a friend. Room was clean, had a mini fridge, microwave, and a small table with two chairs. Bathtub was small but did its job. Sliding glass door was different but it worked. It can be a bit loud if your upstairs neighbors are heavy footed. Sheets were comfy but usb plugs didn’t work. Breakfast room is small and can get crowded. Kids loved the waffle maker and the breakfast sandwiches were really good. Coffee wasn’t very good but OJ was yum. The driveway to the lodge is a bit tricky to get out of and the place has different levels being mountains and all. We saw elk every morning while there and the golf course is right next to the lodge. Everything was close by. The room we were in looked nothing like the photos. But we were comfortable and would stay here again.
