What an incredible trail! We hit East Inlet at a time when the snow was still melting so the path was a little muddy in spots, but honestly that did not take away from the experience one bit. The shade along the trail is fantastic and the views just keep getting better the further you go. Waterfalls, meadows, mountain backdrops — this trail delivers it all without requiring an intense level of fitness to enjoy it. It is the kind of hike where you find yourself stopping every few minutes just to take it all in. If you are visiting Grand Lake, this trail is a must. Just come prepared with some boots you do not mind getting a little dirty and you will have an amazing time. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful hike! You can do a long hike, or a short .7 mile loop.

Took the East Inlet Trailhead up to Adams Falls. It was a very easy, short round trip hike. It was absolutely beautiful.

Lone pine lake was ok. If you can make it to lake Verna, spirit lake and fourth lake that’s where it’s at! Amazing lakes if you’re up for 8.5 mile hike(17 round trip). A nice meadow between Spirit and Fourth lakes. Otherwise Adam’s falls is an easy family friendly hike.

Reservation and park pass still needed. Many people chance it but they have been staffing it and turning people away. You can come before 9 or after 2 without reservations like the rest of the park. Parking can fill up fast. 20 minutes to falls. I live here though so adjust for altitude. No dogs allowed on ANY trails in park. This area has been hit hard with beetle kill so there are several trees down. Also, a lot of steps and uneven terrain. Recommend hiking sticks for those with balance issues. It's short to the falls, but short inclines. It does flatten out some at trails towards top of falls.
