This place was absolutely great. The cabin was clean when we arrived, the rooms were kinda tight but we stayed in a 2 bedroom other than that you could've litteraly fished from the back of the cabin. It even had a place to get on top of the cabin and sit down. The trash was close, which was convenient, and Grand Avenue for Grand Lake was litteraly 10 minute walk from the cabin. I wish I could go back.

Small but cozy & VERY nice cabin! Right in the inlet off of Grand Lake. Water was 50 feet away. Love the simple chair setup in the “yard.” Gorgeous views, great setup! Amenities were outstanding for a small homey cabin. Everything was labeled, instructions and guidance were very clear. They made it super easy! Was very clean too. Motif was very clever and set up well. HIGHLY recommend!! CABIN 17!

Unit 24 was very dirty. No front step and smoke detectors were removed. Wash cloths were grose and someone else hair was all over the shower. Close to town and the kids had fun. Over all a good weekend.

I just learned to ski at 52 this past January. With new boots in hand I wanted to try the sim. It was intimidating at first but started to get the hang of it. Thanks to the cool instructors. I’m looking forward to coming back a few times before hitting the mountains. Really a great way to work on form and strength before the season.

Lemmon Lodge seems to be run by a crew of foreign teenage students who have not been properly trained in the business of cleaning and preparing a clean environment for overnight guests. I am a very nice person and not uppity in the least...I know how to 'ruff it' in the mountains and I am not afraid to do it. I do expect to have a clean cabin when paying $190 per night though. The "older duplex cabin" #7...From the photos and description we knew that it would be rustic and old, however we didn't expect the filth that came along with it. There was no reason for it either. Our cabin wasn't ready when we first arrived so we went to the lake area to unwind from the long drive. It took 4 teenagers 30 minutes to clean it up for us, then I spent a couple hours cleaning it before we could attempt to even use the kitchen. The cupboards were cramped full of dirty greasy dishes. I mean cramped...if one glass was touched they all would likely have been a mess on the floor...Everything in the kitchen was greasy and many had food residue still on them. Pans, Plates, Silverware, cups, cookware...etc...I do understand that when other renters clean up the dishes they may not be as clean as they should be, but looking at the rest of the cabin I knew it wasn't just caused from the previous people renting the place. I cleaned and organized ALL of the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen. The layer of dirt and dust was old and thick in the entire cabin with old dusty cobwebs on all of the walls and decorations. The kitchen table looked clean but when I picked up the greasy placemats and wiped the table, my dish cloth was dark with dirt...We just couldn't believe that management would let this happen. It was so very obvious that the place hadn't been dusted or properly cleaned in months. Nothing about it was clean except the sheets and stove. We couldn't take a shower because the water pressure was so low and ongoing leaks and mold. The old tv didn't have reception and only had one fuzzy channel,the floor corners and baseboards were full of dirt and I dusted and cleaned until I felt it was 'ok' for the next occupants. There was a large closet in the living room but the light inside was unusable, so it was very dark and yet again very dirty. One usable lamp in the living room the other broken. We didn't have a curtain the entire time. We used a dirty blanket to cover it at night. The only place to put clothes was a small dresser in the bedroom with 2 small drawers. A few hooks on the walls to hang from as well. The closet in the main living room was too dark and dirty to use. It was starting to get cold in the evenings so we were able to turn on the heat and it worked fast and good for the exception of the filter that looked like it wasn't ever changed making it a danger to breath. Fire Alarm didn't work either. We chose Lemon Lodge because of the private beach it offered and the community fire pit it boasted. Beach was nice with available toys and float devises, but the fire pit was never available during our stay. There was no use fishing the inlet either... The grounds were nice overall with volleyball net, horseshoes and other activities...the other buildings looked beautiful and newly remodeled for the exception of the office/laundry. That should have been my first clue that things were not going to be clean. I did leave the cabin much cleaner and more organized for the next people. and I must say that other cabins we have stayed in around the same price range or lower, were all remodeled, clean and provided more comforts like coffee, shampoos and cleaning agents...We will not recommend this Lodge to anyone and will not be returning. Maybe this should be the place that Hotel Impossible should have helped instead of Western Riveria in town...Now if you stay in the other cabins and homes they were probably much cleaner but they have the same staff so who knows...We left a day early...duplex cabin #6 came with at least 5 people and it was so loud because this cabin shares the porch and thin walls...horrible!
