Wow! We had an amazing dinner here this past Saturday. It was great to see all the improvements and updates to the property. For being open 4 months the new owners are doing an incredible job. My husband and I had a filet and ribeye. Both were seasoned and cooked perfectly. They were wonderful about working with my food allergy. They went as far as going through the menu with our server before our arrival so she knew exactly what I could order. I also had the most delicious mocktail. I appreciate that they had awesome zero proof options. We will be back. Can’t wait to check out the lunch menu. So happy to see the Rapids continue on and the property get some beautiful upgrades.

This review is for the restaurant only. That atmosphere is perfect for a quiet night out. The view form inside is great and is only surprised by the river side seating. Our waitress Bianca was very knowledgeable and friendly, and was very familiar with the menu. The food was as great as the amazing views. If your near grand lake this one is hard to beat.

If you’re looking for the best dining experiences in Grand Lake, look no further than Rapids Lodge. The atmosphere is absolutely incredible—cozy, historic, and full of mountain charm. Sitting right next to the rushing river creates the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable meal. The bone marrow was rich and flavorful, the ribeye was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor and even from a local ranch, and the cocktails were expertly crafted. Every part of the experience, from the food to the service to the setting, exceeded expectations. The staff and atmosphere make you feel so welcome. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for an amazing dinner after a day in the mountains, Rapids Lodge is a must-visit. Easily one of the best restaurants in Grand Lake. Five stars!

Great experience. Rooms were adequate for a 110 year old building. Dinner was great, breakfast was great. Service was great. And the little touches like the water carafe and ice bucket delivered at check-in was nice. Charming host.

We recently spent a few nights at the Rapids Lodge. We so enjoyed our time there and especially our interactions with Edward (salt of the earth kind of person), and the staff. From having coffee and a delicious breakfast to a Michelin like dinner meal all on the river; everything was just fantastic! Mason is a wonderful chef! We look forward to visiting again in the future!
