A great drive filled with stunning views. I stopped at numerous pullouts and marked overlooks to enjoy the breathtaking views. I went in early before the timed entry and did not have to wait. I saw long lines at the entrance when I finished.

Amazing drive! Take your time and don’t speed. Use your low gear going downhill. Plenty of spots to pull off and take pictures. Great gift shop at the Alpine visitor center, but if you miss it because the parking lot is full there is another one at Kawuneeche visitor center near the Grand Lake entrance. Also, please do NOT stand in the middle of the road! You may see people leaving reviews doing this, but it is really reckless to do so.

Beautiful drive through Rocky Mountain National Park that's worth the entrance fee even if you're only driving through. A map with pullouts for scenic views is given at the entrance and most are clearly marked along the drive. It's worth stopping at each one. Some have short hikes to incredible sights. As you go up in elevation, it gets significantly colder, but it feels like entering an entirely new landscape with views that are breathtaking. There are moments along the drive that are a little scary. Drive slow and safely and stay clear of the edge.

Absolutely stunning experience. Must see and must do. Get youre timed tickets a month in advance. The park is because of the times entry not to crowded, even in vacation time in the summer.

It is an amazing drive. The views will make you realize how vast the area is. If you are squeamish about hights the rode is smooth and safe. You do need to make a reservation to make it easier to get in. A senior national Parks pass will save you an additional entrance fee.
