Great picnic area! Picnic tables are in converted campsites so there is plenty of space between them. Ample shade (not the case at some other east RMNP picnic areas). Mind the camp robber jays who will happily swoop in and nab your lunch if you walk away from it. :-)

Great picnic spot. Since fires aren't allowed took our Go Sun solar cooker. Some picnic spots are on the creek and you can hike from here. In busy season if you are just hiking I would be respectful and not park in a picnic spot but a side pull off spot.

Great picnic areas in the woods & some on the river. Such a quiet & scenic place & you might see elk or moose.

Really nice and secluded. Little creek running through there. Be careful to stay on trails so you don't ruin the nature more than already done. Leave no trace!
