One of the most peaceful and enjoyable spots in RMNP. Every step you take really feels calming. The flowing water creates a constantly changing habitat; one day it can be quiet and the next it can be full of wildlife. Sometimes seeing fresh bear of elk tracks on the trail adds an even stronger sense of wilderness. The most striking thing is that RMNP is not just about scenery. It becomes very clear here that it is actually a huge living ecosystem.

Great spot for a simple, short hike for even the limited hiker. Very short, well groomed and smooth trail. When there is more water, it is likely to be even better of a stop. There was a small creek running by instead of a beaver pond. Results may vary. Nice views for some camera shots.

One of the first pullovers you will come to in Rocky Mountain National Park after entering from Estes Park. A very short walk, some of it being a reasonably wide dirt path, and other parts of it being a boardwalk. Every time we visit Rocky Mountain National Park we stop here, walk the trail to the end, enjoy the scenery and come back to our car within a half hour.

Quick short boardwalk from a pulloff on the road that overlooks a small stream. Did not see any wildlife.
