⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review Avant Garde Aleworks in Estes Park is one of those breweries you visit once and immediately add to your “must return” list. This place delivers everything you hope for in a Colorado craft brewery experience—quality beer, a relaxed vibe, friendly people, and a beautiful setting that makes you want to stay for hours. As a big IPA fan, I was especially impressed with their selection. Their IPAs are bold, fresh, and balanced, with the kind of flavor profiles you expect from a brewery that clearly takes pride in its craft. Every pour tasted clean and intentional, which is something I always look for when trying new breweries. The atmosphere is equally impressive. The outdoor patio is fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and perfect for enjoying mountain air while sipping a cold beer. On a nice day, it’s hard to beat. Inside, the space feels cozy and inviting, with a warm, modern aesthetic that makes it just as enjoyable when the weather turns cooler. It’s one of those breweries where you feel at home the moment you walk in. Another great perk is the rotating food trucks. It’s always nice to have good food options on-site, and the variety keeps things interesting every time you visit. If you’re in Estes Park and enjoy quality craft beer, Avant Garde Aleworks should be at the top of your list. A fantastic brewery with consistently great beer and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger. Highly recommended!

This was a fun local brewery to visit. Chill atmosphere with fun things like a succulent garden (awesome). They had a few good beers on tap and a decent number of styles. Good selection of canned stouts.

There’s 3 great micro breweries in Estes Park and Avante Gard is one (Lumpy Ridge and Rock Cut are the other two). They all have a great selection of beer and slightly different vibes. Avant Gard has a fabulous patio with views of Lumpy Ridge

This place offers some of the best micro brews in CO, especially their Saison and Farmhouse Ales. The views are also enjoyable and entertaining.

This was our go to brewery every time we visit Estes Park, up until yesterday’s visit. A woman named Susan, claiming to be the owner proceeded to yell at a dad because his kids were playing in the outdoor area. I had just commented how great it was to see kids being kids, getting dirty. This woman claimed they were throwing dirt into the fountain but we had been there a couple of hours and never observed any such behavior. Just innocent play, to which the dad offered to clean up. This place claims to be family-friendly, but definitely isn’t. There are plenty of other options in the area, avoid this place.
