The staff here were very kind, and I like the way they decorated the general store and bathrooms with moose themed decorations. It felt like a home away from home. When we first arrived, we asked if we could use the showers or if they were only for campers, and the lady at the desk told us the showers were pay by donation and that we could use them. Because of how friendly and courteous the staff were, we decided to camp at this KOA. It was safe & clean, and there was a laundry room provided. The men's and women's restrooms are seperate, and each restroom has several showers inside with doors that lock for privacy. The showers are spacious, and blow dryers are provided by the sinks in the restroom, which I was very grateful for because I have long hair. Campsites for tents are $60, but I thought it was worth the money, especially since we got to see a moose walking through the campground one morning. Another plus is that it is very close to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Grand Lake. Over all, it was a welcoming, safe place to camp. I would stay here again 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
