My family and I stayed at Big Horn Lodge Grand Lake from 6/19/26 to 6/21/26. We questioned if the room had been cleaned prior to our arrival; There were remnants of food in the refrigerator, there was a used bar of soap in the tub. Sheets were very wrinkled; we questioned if they were even clean. Overall, not a good experience. The location was about the only good thing about the place. Then, at checkout I requested a receipt, which was printed out for me; the total shows $388.28. But my credit card was charged $539.71! Why was it charged more?! Unacceptable! Still waiting to hear from management...

Worst experience ever. Tv didn't work, spread on beds had stains had to use our own blankets, tub wouldn't drain, no microwave in room, no place to hang cloths, had to pull really hard to get sink faucet to turn on, no one in office when needed, didn't return call & the outside runner all ripped. Nearly tripped over it. AC had only 1 speed. I DO NOT RECOMEND STAYING THERE.

Accidentally double booked a room through a third party (2 identical rooms booked within 2 minutes of each other), a clear honest mistake. Plenty of rooms were available and Big Horn Lodge refused to be reasonable and cancel a double booking just hours later. Shame to see a boutique hotel in a nice mountain town be ruthless. Don’t stay or do business with!

Arrived late from traveling, key was left in office on counter with our name. I assumed the front desk was closed, so I never inquired about missing amenities. The location and price are spot on, but the room was missing a few things; No garbage bin or can to be found and the TV never worked.

I had to vacate after just a few hours. There were some unsavory characters who were smoking weed in their running car in front of my room. They were there from the time I checked in until three hours later when I finally left. Management was unresponsive. I do not recommend. There are some nice motels in the area at the same price point.
