Amazing pizza and lovely service. We got the Funghi and it was exceptional! The dough base was delicious.

We were in the Grand Lake area for the weekend and stopped by Firefly Pizzeria for lunch. Grand Lake is a beautiful little town just outside Rocky Mountain National Park (and actually does sit next to a lake). Firefly Pizzeria is small, with only a few tables inside, but it was open to a large patio they share with a coffee shop and other businesses. The menu is short, bit the pizza was really good. We got a cheese pizza and the Carne and both were tasty. They also offer salads and sandwiches.

I saw some comments saying the sauce was bland or the pizza wasn’t “authentic” - they’re probably just Karen’s who have never had good pizza. This place is legit and it’s amazing to have it in Grand Lake. Is it pricey? It’s priced according to the quality and location and frankly anywhere in Denver that serves this level of pizza would charge the same or maybe even more. There is a bar owned by the same people fifteen feet away from the pizza oven and the bartender was really nice. If you bring your dog they also have outdoor seating. Anyway, give them some business because their food is amazing!

If you're in Grand Lake, Colorado, do yourself a favor and experience Firefly Pizza. We've had all the other pizza shops in Grand Lake over the years and this was our first Firefly Pizza stop. There was a crazy long wait at the others and actually thanks to The Firefly's break before dinner we were actually able to wait til 5 for their reopening. The pizza was ready quickly and the pies all tasted great. We had 7 pies for the family and there wasn't anything left!
